- Driver Age
The minimum age requirement is 21/23 years old, a maximum age limit is usually 70 years old.
- Driving Licence
Drivers must have a valid license held for at least one year. In addition, a valid passport or national identity card must be presented when the vehicle is picked up. The driver is responsible for ensuring that he has the appropriate driving license. However, no refunds will be given for rentals rejected due to non-production of a valid driving license. Faxes or photocopies of driving licenses are not acceptable.
- Fines
Any fines, violations and appended administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic law during the rental period are borne solely by the renter, the violation will be charged to the renter. The vehicle can ONLY be used for legitimate purposes. Cars cannot be transported to another island without the written authorization of the «Rent Me Serifos».
- Insurance coverage
The renter is insured for civil liability and third-party insurance covers civil liability for the driver as well as for the other party, theft, and fire of the car. The renter can purchase insurance with a small extra charge for a collision of the vehicle, with the first € 500.00 exemption. The renter can also buy insurance with a small additional cost for personal insurance. The insurance does not cover damages that have been incurred while the driver was drunk or under the influence of drugs. Damages caused by moving the vehicle on unpaved roads, participating in racing or committing illegal activities are not covered. Any insurance does not cover damage to the interior, the underside of the car and the tires unless an accident has occurred. The renter must be aware that damages also excluded from the insurance: By the driver's intention. - From raid, warfare, warfare, demonstration, attitude, strike, coup, revolution, insurrection. - From flood, hurricane, thunder, windstorm, volcano eruption, earthquake. - When the vehicle is on board a ferry. - The imposition of fines or the acquisition of penalties imposed by official, police, or judicial authorities for violations of laws or policy provisions. In case of an accident, the renter should contact Rent Me Serifos and the Road Assistance. Before making a statement, the renter cannot acknowledge any fault or guilt and claims of third parties in any way, whether direct or indirect. The report must submit within 24 hours of the accident. If the renter can not attend the offices of Rent Me Serifos, can provide the reposrt via fax or e-mail. The renter is liable to Rent Me Serifos in the event of an accident that has occurred at his fault of € 500.00, this is the maximum payable by the lessee.

- Change the type of car
Rent Me Serifos reserves the right to change the type of car in special occasions.
- Accident / Breakdown / Theft
In case of an accident involving the rental car, you must report the accident at the nearest police station and inform our car rental company. The vehicle must not be removed from the scene of the accident. If the accident is not reported to the police in association with Greek law, insurance may become void. The report should indicate if there has been an alcohol or drug effect. You should also report any accident or damage to the car rental company. In case that rental car has been damaged while stationary, you should report the damage to the car rental company before moving the vehicle. In case of a theft, the renter is obliged to file a police report and hand it over to the car rental company. You should also immediately inform Rent Me Serifos about any theft. The documents and keys of the car must be returned to the car rental company. The renter should report all compensation directly to the car rental company. Any accident or damage to the vehicle which has not been reported may be interpreted as negligence, which can lead to the customers being charged.
